Sunday Funday

Today my boyfriend and I and a couple of our friends went on a little spontaneous adventure in Austin. We stopped by Butler Park to look at the city's skyline, Amy's Ice Cream for...smoothies, joking for ice cream (of course), and dined at Lucky Robot Japanese Kitchen for some American-Japanese fusion.

Pennybacker

Me and my love adventured to Pennybacker Bridge the other day. It was a beautiful scenic view over Lake Austin and of course the Pennybacker Bridge. We carved our initials into a tree, ya know to symbolize our love, jk. We also watched the sunset over Lake Travis from the Oasis-a three stories restaurant!!-and people watched.

Salt Lick

Yesterday I tried Salt Lick (one of the best BBQs in Texas) for the first time and it was amazeballs. The vibe there is very country, which is something out of my element but I've grown to love. Living in Texas is something else; I honestly love it.

For this outfit I was inspired by Jenn Im and Claire Marshall, they are both youtubers with amazing tastes in styles and everything else. Jenn usually styles her outfits around platforms so I was inspired to own a pair of my own, and Claire actually has the same denim jacket I own. So I thought like Claire and Jenn and pulled together this outfit.

I'm Alive!

I've been MIA for months now but I am alive. I started college at the end of August and I've been super busy since then; but I've been taking some pictures around school and yesterday I went to a show, Charli XCX, she was amazeballs.

812 Market

Happy Sunday everyone. I haven't blogged much because I've been a little busy and didn't do much at the same time..(made no sense). Today I visited the 812 flea market. It reminded me of Cambodia a lot in a way, I can't really explain. They sell chicken, dogs, cats and other farm animals at a very cheap price. I wanted to get a parakeet but somehow I couldn't convince myself. I tried this Mexican drink Mangonada, and it was pretty good. Sweet & spicy. I bought myself this tribal, Mexican backpack thing, very cute. Definitely going back in the future because I'd love to have a puppy or a kitten or a chicken.

Gone Biking

The other day I went biking around Austin with my boyfriend Alan and his cousin Alejandro. Alejandro is visiting from Mexico and I just moved to Austin about 6 months ago so it was like sight seeing for the two of us. I captured some pictures (like a tourist) along the trail.

We went to see the bats of Congress Ave. They leave the bridge to hunt everyday around 8:30. You can't really see them in the picture but the blurring black streaks in the picture are the bats.
